Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with Opal Coffee US.  

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. 

If you’re not satisfied, we’re here to help. 

Return Window 

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full  refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return: 

  • The item must be unused, and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging, including all tags, accessories, and  documentation. 
  • You must provide valid proof of purchase (order number or receipt). The green coffee beans are spoiled, rancid, mouldy, or otherwise not fit for  use on delivery. 
  • The product does not match what was advertised or ordered. The parcel is lost or damaged in transit, and evidence is provided.

Return Process 

To start a return: 

  1. Contact us at trade@opalcoffee.us with your order number and reason  for return. 
  2. We’ll provide you with return shipping instructions. 

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for  returns lost in transit or the shipping cost for return.

Change of Mind 

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases or if you ordered the  wrong product by mistake. However, we may offer a store credit or exchange (at  our discretion) if: 

The product is unopened, in original condition, and 

Returned within 14 days of delivery 

You cover the return shipping costs

Shipping Costs 

  • If the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item, defective product), we’ll  cover return shipping costs. 
  • If the return is for other reasons (e.g., changed mind, wrong size), you’ll  be responsible for return shipping. 

Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

How to Request a Refund 

To request a refund or replacement, please email: trade@opalcoffee.us 

Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and any relevant  photos (e.g. packaging, damaged beans). 

We aim to respond within 2-3 business days.

Refunds 

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within  5–10 business days

Please note: 

  • Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the  refund. 
  • If the item is not in its original condition or is returned after the return  window, a partial refund or store credit may be issued at our discretion. 

Damaged or Defective Items 

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us at trade@opalcoffee.us within 7 days of delivery

Please include: 

  • Your order number 
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging 

We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible. 

Late or Missing Refunds 

If you haven’t received your refund after the stated time: 

  1. Check your bank or card account again. 
  2. Contact your payment provider — it may take several days to post. 3. If you still have not received it, email us at trade@opalcoffee.us and we’ll  assist.
